This was a catastrophic incident to the Tempest Fang Clan, they never imagined in their thousands of years of existence that they would be in danger of annihilation not just from their own kind, but with the aid of a species they had no knowledge of.
Most of the inhabitants of this world had no knowledge of what humans were, they had never seen any before. Even though they could clearly see that there seemed to be some similarities between themselves and these strange beings, they could also sense how strange they were.
What they could not understand was how their opponents managed to get these powerful helpers. They could clearly sense the aura coming from Grey's body, and it was not on the same level as any of the Peak Sovereigns, this was the reason the first Peak Sovereign from the Tempest Fang who was ambushed did not take the attack seriously. Only after it was too late did they understand how fearsome this strange fellow was.
