They worked in a well-organized section of the shop, where shelves were lined with jars filled with colorful powders, dried leaves, and shimmering liquids. Lyra watched as one preparer carefully weighed a handful of golden petals on a delicate scale, her movements precise and deliberate.
Elise's eyes softened as she recalled the humble beginnings of Herbs & Lotions. "Back then, it was just me, Lisa, and Boss Alf," she said, her voice tinged with nostalgia. "We did everything ourselves—preparing ingredients, crafting potions, managing the shop. It was hard work, but it was also… rewarding."
