As we stood there for awhile looking out at the water while the sun is going down my mother slowly backs out of my quarters and closes the door quietly. I took a deep breath and spoke:
"hey Tracy...?"
"Yes your highness?"
"Tomorrow is going to be hard for the both of us.."
"I know I'm just trying not to think about it right now..."
I grab Tracy's hand and make her face me, she seemed shocked but she was blushing at the same time trying to grasp on what was going on.
"Just know that I have to make time for both of you starting tomorrow and it's not going to be easy."
she looked away like she knew this was going to happen, but wished it wasn't. I put my finger on her chin and made her look at me and when I did I kissed her. Then I broke away.
"It's alright my love. I will try to spend as much time with you as much as I can."
This made her smile. I smiled back then we both went back to looking at the sun set till she left to go back to her quarters to go to bed.
(The next morning)
After breakfast, I was standing next to my father's throne with both the girls in front of me waiting for my mother and father to join us. About 5 minutes later, my parents walked in and sat down, then my father spoke:
"Ok everyone. Today is the day we start the trials to win my son's heart!"
My family who came in yesterday started clapping, and so did the camera crew my father brought in.
"Today my son will be blind folded and put in a separate room while both of these beautiful young ladies get ready. My son will not be removing the blind fold until instructed to do so."
I nodded and was blind folded by my mother. Once she finished I was told to stay here until instructed to move to a room. After my mother sat back down, my father continued:
"The young ladies have one hour to get ready and wait for the queen to give them instructions to continue. There will be small breaks but they will not be in the same room. As these breaks happen, my son, there are no rules on your part for today since you are the one who is blind folded but ladies there are going to be rules."
My father sounded like he was standing up and coming towards me. I stayed still and waited for his instructions. Once my father got to me he whispered,
"The only rule is to not take the blind fold off. Got It son?"
I nodded and he told the maid to take me to my room for the evening. once I got to a room, it was dead silent for about 20 minutes, then someone walked in.
"Who is there?"
"Your mother dear"
"Hello mother how can I help you?"
"Well I came to give you company."
My mother and I sat there talking about my coronation and what they were planning on doing while we both waited until the hour was up. Once time was up, my mother said good bye, and she headed out the door. Once I heard the door close I let out a sigh knowing that the maid was still in the room to keep me company but I didn't want to talk about anything. About five minutes later I ask the maid for a cup of coffee.
