The light escaping from Lu Li's fingers was dimming, and the lit fire basin replaced the light to illuminate the ruins.
The smooth rock walls and tall steps held severely oxidized, fading rune paintings, which were supposed to record patterns and texts but were likely destroyed a few years ago when the shelter was excavated here.
If the shelter hadn't sealed the passage, perhaps the graffiti would be more incomplete.
