The next morning dawned bright and clear, sunlight spilling through the tall windows of the Draven mansion. Lea woke up feeling lighter, her body no longer aching from the fever that had drained her the day before. Hugo was already awake, leaning against the doorframe with two steaming mugs of coffee in his hands.
"Morning, sleepyhead," he said with a teasing grin, handing her a cup. "You look like someone who needs a little caffeine before facing two five-year-old tornadoes."
Lea chuckled softly, rubbing her eyes. "You mean Mireya and Maxen? I think they were born with endless energy."
Hugo raised a brow. "Then it's settled. We'll have to match their energy today."
"Why?" she asked, suspiciously narrowing her eyes.
He smirked. "Because we're taking them to Auralis Grand Park—the biggest amusement park in the city."
Lea blinked, stunned for a moment. "You're serious?"
