The Newborn Mars Defense Corps was a reformed planetary defense force formed after the original Mars Defense Corps rebelled and became the Red Star Prosthetics Followers. Due to past experiences, the higher-ups intentionally reduced the scale and firepower of this corps' fleet and enhanced the construction of orbital barracks.
Mars is too close to the Asteroid Belt, and the Scientific Knights are too undisciplined, which breeds sin. The revolt led by the Ninth Martial God, ostensibly arose from "a whim within a small group of Scientific Knights" — a reason that the Ninth Martial God believed because it was very real at that time.
Within the community of Scientific Knights, small groups sympathetic to Heroes colluded with officers, forming a faction of insubordinates. Such occurrences are difficult to prevent.
The vigilance towards the Mars Defense Corps indeed needs to be greater.
