All main office employees received invitations a week ago, allowing them to participate voluntarily in the company's December 31st party. They could bring two to three family members, but needed to report in advance. If there were other commitments on this day, or if they simply wanted to spend it with their family or loved ones, it was fine, not mandatory, not forced participation.
