When Jian Jin was feeling uneasy, Lu Zhi arrived, escorted by bodyguards.
The subordinates surrounding Jian Jin and the others stepped aside upon seeing him.
Lu Zhi glanced at Jian Jin in the crowd, who was pointing a gun at himself to threaten others, and pursed his lips, "When did you become so childish?"
Jian Jin stood opposite him, suppressing her anguish, and said, "Boss, I'm serious."
"You're threatening me with your life?" Lu Zhi seemed somewhat agitated, sparks hidden deep in his eyes, his face revealing nothing of his thoughts.
"Yes." Jian Jin admitted frankly.
Lu Zhi's deep gaze was dark; he took a deep breath and calmly said, "What if I don't release them? Will you really shoot?"
Jian Jin said, "Qiao is in there. I can't let her be in danger, so you can try."
Lu Zhi gripped the railing tightly, looking at her with restraint, "In your eyes, would I harm her?"
"I used to think you wouldn't. Now, I don't know anymore."
