Faye looked at her fixedly and said indifferently, "I'll get you on Weibo when we get back."
"Ah? That's more like it," Tessa's heart leapt with joy, her mood instantly brightening. But what made her even happier came next, as the waiter said to her, "Hello, your bill has already been settled."
Tessa, bewildered, stunned, and surprised, left the restaurant with Faye. Once in the car, she blinked her eyes and looked at Faye with a simple, innocent expression, "You were the one who paid the bill."
It seemed that Faye had only gone to the bathroom once during the meal, but that direction was opposite to the cashier's, so logically, it shouldn't have been him who paid.
"Nope!" Faye started the car, stepped on the gas, and drove away.
Tessa was puzzled, "If it wasn't you, then who paid for it? It couldn't have been Jasper Vance, could it?!"
