Tessa Caldwell left home and went to her cousin's house.
Nora Harrow looked at Tessa, who appeared utterly lifeless, and exclaimed, "Oh my, what's happened to you? Is your married life unhappy?"
Tessa responded weakly, "Not much, just feeling a little down."
"There must be a reason at least."
"Uh, it's just..." Tessa didn't want to tell the truth, so she made up something on the spot: "I've recently met a rich and beautiful woman, her aura is just too strong, and I feel a bit inferior around her."
Nora was shocked, "Are you joking? A person as vain and narcissistic as you, who also doesn't have a care in the world, feeling inferior?"
Tessa swatted her hand away in annoyance, "Are you my cousin or what? I'm in a bad mood; blinded by someone else's dazzling presence, shouldn't you be comforting me right now?"
Nora glanced at her, putting on a divine and compassionate face, "Oh Tessa! If someone as perfect as you feels inferior, how are us ordinary mortals supposed to live!"
