Tessa Caldwell tapped her two index fingers nervously, worriedly saying, "But he already has someone he likes. If I really make a move, won't I become the third party? Then people will call me a homewrecker."
Lucy Lawson's mouth twitched: "Please, you two are married!"
Tessa Caldwell pouted: "It's a contract marriage."
Lucy Lawson had a defeated expression, glaring at her, "Others don't know that your marriage is a contract. If you like him, just go for it. Why worry about all that?"
Tessa Caldwell shook her head with difficulty, saying, "It's not right."
Lucy Lawson looked at her speechlessly, saying, "Your contract husband, from what you've described, I think he definitely has a high-cold personality. If he really liked that girl so much, could he have married you?"
That seemed to make some sense. Tessa Caldwell carefully reminisced, Faye seemed to never have mentioned the woman he liked. Was he indifferent, or did he care too much?
