Faye suddenly stood up and turned towards the bathroom, moving quickly, and said as he walked, "It's getting late. If you don't get up, you'll be late."
Tessa Caldwell was stunned for a moment before getting out of bed. She walked to the bathroom door with her phone in hand and said to Faye inside, "Then I'm going over."
The only response she got was the sound of rushing water, not knowing if Faye heard her or not.
Tessa Caldwell returned to her bedroom, sat on the edge of her bed, and felt completely out of sorts, uncomfortable all over.
She clearly noticed it just now.
Furthermore, she couldn't make sense of his attitude.
Her gaze swept over the phone she had just placed on the nightstand, and she felt like she needed a friend to guide or analyze the situation.
She picked up the phone again, only to find she had taken the wrong one.
She was clearly muddled by his good looks; their phones looked so different, yet she still managed to grab the wrong one.
