In the dead of night, Tessa Caldwell lay awake, staring wide-eyed at the ceiling.

The door of the hospital room opened, and when she saw Faye enter, she immediately sat up in bed, her eyes large and filled with disbelief: "Arrogant jerk, why are you at the hospital so late?"

Even if she had returned to the country at this moment, she could have gone home to rest for a while and come back in the morning, especially since she was already awake and nothing was wrong.

Faye closed the door and walked over, "Why are you awake?"

Tessa said with a smile, "I slept too much earlier, and now I can't fall asleep."

Faye reached out and touched her forehead.

Noticing the tension on his face and the shadow between his brows, Tessa's heart, muddled by "memory loss," felt slightly better, and she grabbed his hand: "I'm not running a fever, why are you touching my forehead?"

"Does it still hurt?"

Tessa shook her head.
