On the other end of the phone, Faye lazily asked back, "Who do you say it is?"
Tessa Caldwell swallowed and shook her head repeatedly, "I don't know, the name Tessa Caldwell is really strange. I'm Tessa Who, what a lousy name, sounds quite awful too."
Faye said word by word, "My wife."
This was the first time Tessa heard Faye call someone "wife," and she felt her heart fiercely hit by something, turning into mush.
However, she fortunately remembered the purpose of her call.
She was surprised, "What, you're actually married? Did I interrupt you with my call..." Then she suddenly realized, "Wait a minute, this name sounds familiar, isn't it the name of your ex-girlfriend?"
After asking, she nervously waited for the answer, wanting to know how Faye would respond.
She felt as if her brain had never worked faster in her life as it did now.
