Meeting Faye's eyes for two seconds, Tessa Caldwell lowered her gaze to her phone, preparing to reply to Milo Morton's message.
Milo's message asked her, "Are you asleep?"
Tessa thought he probably had something to ask or tell her, so she typed back a reply: "Not yet, what's up?"
Just as she was about to hit send, her phone was suddenly snatched away, followed by a loud "bang!" as it was smashed onto the ground.

Tessa looked at the broken phone on the floor, then at Faye, utterly shocked.
She opened her mouth, ready to ask Faye what she was doing, what kind of madness this was, when Faye pushed her onto the bed, pressing down upon her, and harshly sealed her lips, nearly assaulting her mouth with his.
