Tessa Caldwell struggled slightly, but Faye held her even tighter.
Her heart trembled, and she shouted at Faye with agitation, "Let me go! What destiny? It's a curse, a mistake for us to intersect at all. We were meant to be parallel lines, destined to drift further apart!"
"I'm telling you, I disagree!" Faye spat out each word, gritting his teeth.
Tessa's voice also trembled a little. "That's your problem, it has nothing to do with me!"
She took an angry breath, glaring fiercely at Faye, her voice filled with despair, "I don't want to be with you anymore, I can't handle it... Faye, I hate you, I've never hated someone so much, never disliked anyone like this... No matter how noble or elegant you seem on the outside, deep down, you're selfish and self-centered. You have no heart, you only think of yourself, and all you know is how to bully a woman like me."
An intense bitterness exploded within her, and Tessa could no longer hold back, screaming out, "I hate you, I hate you..."
