She looked at Lauren and seemed to feel quite sorry for her, so she smiled and said, "Grandfather, Lauren has someone she loves, and she's certainly with her loved one. Why did you dismiss him without even meeting him? Maybe the person she found herself could be better than the one you picked?"
Then she tried to lighten the mood.
Grandfather Green thought that made sense, the granddaughter Chuck found a wife that was better than the one he chose.
His expression softened, and he smiled, "You're right, Lauren, then bring him over so I can take a look. If I find him suitable, I will arrange the marriage for you two. How does that sound?"
Lauren immediately beamed, "Thank you, Grandpa."
She thought that once her boyfriend met Grandpa, he would definitely like him.
Coming out of the villa, as soon as Lauren got into the car, she called her boyfriend, telling him to hurry to China, and in between, she talked a lot about Grandpa's preferences. They chatted all the way to the hotel.
