Tessa Caldwell received a very strange phone call, from an unfamiliar number. The voice on the other end was specially modified, making it impossible to discern whether it was male or female.
The voice carried an eerie chill: "Long time no see, Tessa Caldwell, I hate you, I won't let you go!!"
Tessa immediately sat up straight, nervously asking, "Who are you? What do you want?"
The hoarse voice on the phone, with a cold laugh, said: "I want to kill your son and daughter, to make you suffer the agony of heart and soul!"
Tessa's eyes widened suddenly, word by word, nearly biting through her teeth as she spoke: "What do you mean? If you have guts, come at me, don't go after my children!"
The person on the phone, laughed triumphantly and said, "Don't worry, I won't spare you either, I'll kill you too!"
With that, the call was abruptly disconnected.
Hearing the "beep beep beep" sound, Tessa's heart raced inexplicably—who would make such a call, and why!!
