"You're quite optimistic." Su Li lightly hummed, clearly not taking his words seriously.
The waiter started serving dishes just in time, and Wei Chengfeng held back his words, instead starting to attentively offer her food.
Su Li looked at the bland dishes in front of her, not knowing why, she had no appetite. The waiter placed freshly squeezed lemon juice before her; she drank a sip, feeling a bit relieved in her stomach, and then said to the waiter, "Could you help me with some cucumber, just a bit of salt mixed in will do."
The waiter was startled for a moment but quickly complied.
Wei Chengfeng knew she usually wasn't picky about food, but today something was definitely off.
"What's wrong, don't these dishes suit your taste?"
Su Li shook her head, "I don't feel like eating."
"Then let's order something else."
"No, I don't want anything else either." Su Li said, taking a sip of the still fizzy lemon juice.
