She didn't want to eat, and Wei Chengfeng had no choice but to peel an apple for her, hoping that the roast duck would be brought back quickly.
Su Li lazily lay on Wei Chengfeng's lap, making him feel wonderfully happy. He cut the peeled apple into small pieces and fed them to her.
"Is it sweet?"
"Mm."
"Let me taste it, too." With that, Wei Chengfeng lowered his head and kissed her.
The kiss wasn't deep, more of a light taste.
"Hmm, indeed it's quite sweet."
It was unclear whether he meant the apple was sweet or her lips.
Su Li blushed, turning her head to the side out of embarrassment.
"Do you want more?"
"No."
While they were goofing around, the roast duck finally arrived, still warm. The smell was already pervasive without the bag being opened.
Even though Su Li had been craving it desperately, she only ate a few bites once it was actually there.
