Duan Xingzhi took a bite of a green tea-flavored dessert in front of him, then elegantly wiped his lips and said, "I'm curious, if I didn't come, would Mrs. Wei be able to finish all these desserts?"
Su Li shook her head with a smile, "Of course not."
"Since you can't, why order so many?"
Su Li also wiped her lips and said, "Maybe I'm too greedy and have difficulty choosing, so I wanted to try a bit of each flavor, and ended up ordering one of each."
Duan Xingzhi raised an eyebrow but didn't ask further, quietly concentrating on his dessert, his lashes lowered, his whole demeanor cloaked in a hint of melancholy, exuding a unique aura.
He didn't ask again, and Su Li had no intention of saying more, so they both ate in silence.
