Chapter 1967 - Chapter 1973: If Dads Aren't for Tricking, What's the Point?

Being a doctor has its perks.

When Chen Cang was little, he particularly envied the chubby kid in the village.

Because his grandfather was the village doctor.

Every year during New Year, their home was overflowing with milk, bread, snacks, and cookies.

So back then, Chen Cang made up his mind to become a doctor.

Just for the endless supply of snacks and cookies.

These days, when the hospital was on break, Chen Cang still had to attend to outpatients.

But…

Somehow, during these past few days in the outpatient department, every patient seemed to be orchestrated, bringing gifts of all sorts as they arrived.

Many patients even traveled long distances to bring local specialties.

The gifts weren't expensive.

But they were heartfelt.

There was millet, coarse grains, some homemade bacon, and homemade sausages…

In summary, the gifts were piling up in the outpatient room, almost too much to hold.
