Mel walked into the garden as Fat Moe held his auction. Maria Gloove, who came and bought two Ten-Bud Phantom Orchids yesterday, was nowhere to be found, but there was another Ten-Bud Phantom Orchid on the auction counter.
On the morning after a long and tiring night, Mel seemed to have kept his pace even though he started the day with almost no sleep. When he entered the Herb Gardens, he was exhilarated, like someone longing for his homeland reunited with the land where he was born, and the green energy that covered his body grew darker and darker.
When it got dark and the sky cloaked its black curtain over the academy, the three were in Moe's shop again. The young girl, having lived through her second auction, told all the details, and they laughed out loud at what Moe had done to raise the price.
"Kristin, I am going out!"
