In the fighting area, two giants stood facing each other. Everyone knew who they were, but there was no consensus regarding the outcome.
"Mel made it to the second round, but he's got his work cut out for him!"

While the two young students were talking, their friend suddenly interjected.
"Don't you guys think it's a huge coincidence that both Mel and Edgan's opponents are the Second Elder's men?"
"Aren't they drawing lots?"

The youths didn't seem likely to stop talking, but along with the official's announcement, they shut their mouths and directed their gazes to the fighting area.
