The razor-sharp teeth jutting from its elongated maw gleamed; judging by the drool it scattered around, the Leader Beast was starving.
Mel raised his claws, which had undergone transformation since he stepped onto the battlefield, brought them together in front of his body, and waited for his enemy. For the Leader Beast charging with increasing speed at every step, a better scenario couldn't exist; it could inflict massive damage on its opponent with a body slam, using all the kinetic energy it had gathered.
