"Look here, you crooked-headed bastard; did you think throwing on a red uniform makes you an Academy Overseer?"
While every single soul in the shop, including the Kapo, was waiting for the food to arrive, a youth with a broad forehead marched toward them, wiping his right hand on his apron. He held a bowl half-filled with food in his other hand; it was glaringly obvious he had eavesdropped on the conversation while prepping the service.
"You might be a Kapo in the Outer Circle, but out here, you aren't worth more than a piece of shit—especially when standing before a cultivator born in the Inner Circle like me. Now, you're either going to shut your mouth and wait, or I'm going to kick your ass straight out the door!"
Bracing to strip off his food-stained apron, the young man was primed for war. Having already started battering the Kapo of the First Ward with his words, he was merely waiting for a verbal retaliation to physically pummel him as well.
"Bonbi, stand down!"
