Shiro and Selena had a very long time running. They continued to run as long as their legs could carry them and at the end they were tired, hungry and out of breath. The both of them were stationed behind a door, smiling but utterly terrified. At least they smiled and the sadness would keep the fear away.
He was happy that Selena was back to herself. She was no longer the little, terrified girl that was easily shaken. She was now OK and she had already adapted to the situation after many times of scolding her and dragging her out of situations that would have taken her head.
Many times she shook her head and wondered where she would have been if Shiro didn't drag her out of the zombies that attacked her when she was down the stairs. He had saved the deer in a heartbeat but he was very pissed at her when she was saved. He was angry because she made the whole thing worse by being slow and because she didn't regard him. She didn't think that he was able to save her.
