Chapter 303 - 0301 Nobody is doing well

Red Blood Wood is a unique tree species of Nagariel, known for its blood-red color throughout and its gold threads, which endow it with a sacred quality.

In many religious beliefs, "gold" seems to be a characteristic exclusive to the divine. For instance, in mythical tales, the blood of gods is often described as "golden in hue," or even directly as "golden blood."

The attributes of Red Blood Wood have spawned legends and myths; in some tales, the blood of the gods falls to the ground, and only where their blood gathers does Red Blood Wood grow. The gold threads within it represent undiminished Divinity.

The more gold threads a Red Blood Wood has, the pricier it becomes. Some special specimens are valued at several times, even dozens of times the price of gold of equivalent weight.
