As I was explaining my life to them, their expression shifted from sadness, anger and concern. By the time i was finished both of them had tears in their eyes. And even though I was using occlumency, I didn't know that even I had some tears in my eyes. The helplessness and the pain probably evoked my body body's natural response while recalling themselves.
"After my escape, i hid in the slums. Though i had some idea that my parents were nobles. I didn't know a way to contact them. So I remained in the slums. Later I saw some wizards celebrating the dark lords fall. That is when i decided to enter the wizarding world. And well then after some information gathering and so. I came to gringotts and found out about my heritage."
Andromeda got hold of her emotions. Ted asked the most difficult question.
"Why ask about Dumbledore and Sirius."
At this question my aunt also looked at me because this was not something an 5 year old should know.
I had already made a vow with the goblin and asked for his assistance. The man was reluctant, but i promised the man some very important information about the dark lord. The goblins hated the dark lord and when i took a magical oath proclaiming that i had information about him that probably only two people knew, he was intrigued amd well i told him about being dark lord being alive and well he was angry.
But when I took a magical oat, he was shocked and immediately asked for the branch head. I had a meeting with the Gringotts himself and told them about horcuxes and how Dumbledore knew it and was hiding it all.
They already hated Dumbledore and afterwards, i made a deal with them for all the information.
1) Ruphuk giving me an alibi.
2)Getting hufflepuff cup. After it is cleansed.
3) complete lockdown of my identity
They agreed though reluctantly, but in the end , now my secrets were safe and secure. The goblins were quite amazed at my demeanour and intellect. But I am not gonna answer their curiosity.
At this point Ruphuk intervened,
"Well Miss Tonks, that was us. After the death of Sirius we investigated that the potters secret keeper was not Sirius but someone else. Dumbledore knew it and still sent the last apparent Black to Azkaban without a trial. So i advised it to heir Black for his safety that he should stay hidden and get someone trustworthy as reagent."
At this point both the Tonks were gasping and Andromeda had tears in her eyes. Tonks also looked infiriated.
Andromeda suddenly hugged me, "You have gone through so much. Sorry , weshould have looked for you."she had genuine tears in her eyes
I was amazed at the gesture and suddenly as my occlumnecy shields dropped i could finally feel what i had been suppressing for all this time. For the first time in the last 10 years of my life i cried as i let go of all the suffering. She just hugged me tighter and i stayed in her embrace letting ho of all my pain as it drained away in my tears.
After about an hour of crying , i wiped my swollen eyes and started apeaking.
"Now that you know most of it, i wanted to ask if you would be my reagents/guardians."
They both also had somewhat swollen eyes and nodded,
"Of course. Is there even a need to ask."
She said while smiling. At this point Ruphuk interrupted us ,
"Since you are both willing, these are the papers. They are quite standard."
Ted immediately took the document in his hand and started reading it. After all the man was a famous law wizard. He discussed some things with Ruphuk who explained them and he nodded.
"Wait!" I suddenly said remembering something very important.
All of them looked at me. With a questioning gaze.
"Before you sign them, I would like to do a magical inheritance test."
All were quite perplexed by my demand.
"Aren't you regulus and alisha's son. Wont it just be for the house of Black. Plus you need to have gone through your 1st magical maturation for the test." Aunt Andromeda said with a questioning gaze.
I then told them that they had tried to make me a body with a very pure magical body through rituals and that i had formed my magic core. At this point all of them were shocked except Ruphuk. He nodded , probably remembering the glow on the crystals at the time of the previous test. They both nodded and we all went to the new room.
