Shi Su spent the whole day idly at the hospital, and by evening, Jun and Chu Jiu had packed dinner from a nearby restaurant to eat with her.
She was so hungry that her stomach was growling, and while resting on the hospital bed after rehab, she missed the braised pork ribs she had eaten a few days ago.
As Chu Jiu entered, she quickly opened the food containers, which contained pickled fish, medicinal soup, and two of Shi Su's favorite home-cooked dishes.
The three of them began to dig into the food around the white table by the bed when suddenly, there was a knock on the door of the ward.
No one else knew she was hospitalized, so the visitor definitely wasn't connected to her. Shi Su continued stuffing food into her mouth, nudging Jun with her foot to signal her to answer the door.
Jun glared at her, "I'm your boss!"
Shi Su pointed to her neck with a look that said, "I'm the patient, I have my reasons" with a tea-like demeanor.
