Shi Su hadn't even realized she was standing there, staring at Jing Jihan in a daze.
She had been looking at him intently for over two minutes.
It wasn't until Jihan suddenly raised his eyes that Shi Su quickly looked away and then returned her gaze. "If you're still busy, I can..."
Jihan gestured towards the sofa behind her with his eyes. "Sit."
But Shi Su didn't move, nor did she intend to sit. She just glanced at the iPad and documents beside him, and suddenly spotted a screen in Jihan's office showing surveillance cameras of various key areas of the company, including the square where she had just been.
A voice came from the computer, and Jihan nodded to the person on the other end of the video and said: "Au revoir, monsieur."
Shi Su was not surprised when she heard this and saw him simultaneously close the computer on his desk.
