The photographers following the shoot were holding cameras up close to capture the details of each pair of guests working. Shi Su was busy helping Fang Lihua and Liu Guochun secure more rubber buckets.
Jing Jihan took on the work of two people by himself, but even on his own, he completed more and performed better than many other pairs of guests.
Shi Su was walking back and forth, drenched in sweat. Jing Jihan managed to take a moment to reach out and stop her as she passed by, grabbing her wrist and pulling her in front of him, finding a shady spot for her to stand, and gently wiping her forehead: "Feeling better?"
He was referring to her mild nausea when she first entered the rubber forest that morning.
"I'm fine. I felt much better after having some cucumber salad at lunch. I guess the oil from the boxed meal I got at the convenience store this morning was too greasy."
