"Go outside to make the call."
Wen Ran pointed towards the door, indicating to him not to wake up Xin Xin.
Mo Xiuchen leaned down to kiss Momo's forehead, asked Wen Ran to continue accompanying her, and then went out to the corridor to make the call.
"Mom, lie down too."
Momo yawned but held onto Wen Ran's hand, wanting her to sleep with them.
Wen Ran smiled softly, gently patting Momo's blanket, "Momo, be good, Mom is here to stay with you while you sleep."
"Mom, tell a story."
"Alright, Mom will continue the story Dad just told, okay?"
A few minutes later, Momo drifted off to dreamland. Watching her sweet sleeping face, a gentle smile slowly spread in Wen Ran's eyes.
After tucking her and Xin Xin in, she stepped out of the room and saw Mo Xiuchen coming out of the next room, Ziyi's.
"Xiuchen, did you make the call?"
Mo Xiuchen waited for her to come over, naturally taking her hand and leading her to the master bedroom, "The phone's off, he probably went back."
