After lunch, Bai Xiaoxiao didn't take Xiao Yuting's car again.
Instead, Mo Xiuchen and Wen Ran gave her a ride back to the company.
Wen Ran and Bai Xiaoxiao sat in the back seat while Mo Xiuchen drove. Ever since Wen Ran started working with him, Mo Xiuchen rarely used a driver.
"Xiaoxiao, how did you feel at Meng Ke's house yesterday?"
Wen Ran wanted to call Bai Xiaoxiao last night, but thinking that she'd definitely be asked about it by Mr. and Mrs. Bai, she decided against it.
So she didn't call her.
Bai Xiaoxiao thought for a moment before answering, "It was fine, his parents were nice and welcoming. It's just that their words implied they hope Meng Ke and I get married soon."
"That's to be expected. As long as they aren't direct about it, just pretend you don't understand."
Wen Ran wasn't surprised. Meng Ke and Mo Xiuchen were around the same age. It'd be strange not to be urged to marry.
