When Bai Xiaoxiao's phone rang, they were having breakfast.
Luo Haofeng picked up a steamed dumpling and placed it on the plate in front of her, taking care of her with gentle consideration.
Bai Xiaoxiao put down her chopsticks and took out her phone. Upon seeing the caller ID, she frowned; the call was from Li Shi Yao.
After hesitating for two seconds, Bai Xiaoxiao answered the call and lazily said, "Hello!"
However, as soon as she spoke, Li Shi Yao's voice, tinged with tears, came through, "Hello, Sister Xiaoxiao, it's Shi Yao. Where are you now?"

Hearing Li Shi Yao's tearful voice, Bai Xiaoxiao's expression slightly changed.
"Sister Xiaoxiao, Auntie has had an accident. My cousin and I were shopping when we saw Auntie being forced into a car without a license plate by two strange men. She's been taken away."
