Bai Xiaoxiao went upstairs to take a shower, then lay on her bed and picked up her phone, reading the message Luo Haofeng had just sent her.
"Xiaoxiao, how was your day? Were you very busy?"
Even though Bai Xiaoxiao was having a cold war with her mom because of Luo Haofeng.
Yet, seeing his message still warmed her heart.
A gentle warmth unwittingly spread over her brows and eyes, and she hesitated for a moment before dialing Luo Haofeng's phone number.
After two rings, Luo Haofeng's voice came through the night into her ear, "Hello, Xiaoxiao."
"Are you still outside?"
A slight smile appeared at Bai Xiaoxiao's lips, her voice soft with a hint of leisurely charm spilling over her red lips.
"My parents came back this afternoon, I didn't have any social obligations tonight, I'm already lying in bed."
Luo Haofeng's voice was pleasant to listen to, deep and magnetic.
"Your parents came back?"
"Yes, they said they're back to spend the Lantern Festival with me."
"Oh."
