Bai Qingling's eyes flickered twice.
"Really?"
Luo Haofeng laughed, "When have I ever lied to you? You said you were coming back late, and I stayed up waiting for you, not daring to sleep. Stop pouting; it doesn't look good."
Bai Qingling forced a smile, too scared to actually laugh.
She managed to pull a conceding curve, "So how are you going to compensate me?"
"I'll give you some pocket money, or if you see something you want, I can buy it for you?"
Luo Haofeng thought that Qingling earning from Chu Junming might be due to a slight misstep in his previous educational approach.
Since Qingling turned eighteen, he hadn't really given her money to spend; she's been earning and spending on her own.
Perhaps he should give her more pocket money in the future.
Bai Qingling bit her lip and thought for a moment, awkwardly saying, "Dad, then lend me a million, I'll pay you back in a while."
"Is a million enough?"
