"Of course," Zhao Gushen nodded, "The few of us always look out for each other, it's a habit now."
"The reason the outside world respects the Eight Great Families so much isn't because a single family is so powerful. To be honest, no matter how strong one family is, it's hard when besieged." Zhao Gushen said slowly.
"Have you noticed? Whenever people talk about the Eight Great Families, they always mention all eight together. Unless they're talking about just one, they rarely single out any one family." Zhao Gushen said.
Ye Fei nodded, "That's true. Before I met you, I didn't understand any of this. I just heard others calling them the Eight Great Families, so I followed suit. I imagine, aside from some who really know you, most people just call it that too."
