Catherine Ford mechanically turned her head to look at Benjamin Jones, her mouth slightly ajar, swallowing unconsciously, followed by her heart pounding uncontrollably like a drumstick, her whole body's scalp tingling, momentarily unsure whether she was insane or the man beside her was.
Nancy Newman and Kyle Carter's expressions weren't any better; in their eyes, Catherine Ford was a second-hand woman with no family background or education, promiscuous, dragging along a child, and divorced – being with a man in his fifties would already be considered lucky, yet the man in front of them clearly had an extraordinary background.
How could this be possible?
Nancy's eyes turned red with jealousy, "Impossible, if you really liked her, how could you let her wear such LOW-quality clothes and shoes, aren't you embarrassed by the depreciation?"
Upon hearing this, Benjamin Jones looked towards Catherine Ford.
