David Locke looked at Mary Scott's embarrassed appearance and smiled slightly. "Don't worry about me, you and Miss Swift go first."
Mary Scott turned her head stubbornly upon hearing this, "Who's worried about you?"
David Locke didn't argue with her but hesitantly glanced at Bertha Swift, "Miss Swift, you don't mind if Adam Piers drives you back, right? Given the current situation, my car can't get out, and arranging things would be inconvenient."
After he said this, Mary Scott looked nervously at Bertha Swift. After all, the awkwardness of the three of them sharing a car earlier was still fresh in her memory.
Bertha Swift understood Mary Scott's concerns and shook her head reassuringly before Mary could speak. Although she resisted Adam Piers, she also knew the bigger picture was important.
