Bertha Swift, with wobbly legs, went on a tour of Paris with Adam Piers, bringing back gifts for her girlfriends in the group. Afterward, she refused to walk another step. Seeing her lazy demeanor, Adam simply squatted in front of her and pointed to his back, "Hop on."
"Why?" Although Bertha Swift somewhat understood what Adam meant, she was afraid she was overthinking it.
Adam turned his head to give her a side glance, "What do you think?"
With just one sentence, Bertha Swift knew she hadn't misunderstood, but she still couldn't quite believe it. However, Adam had already lost his patience, "Hurry up."
"Oh." Bertha Swift let out a sound, suddenly leaping up with a quick motion, then her legs were held firmly by Adam's big hands. She was now firmly on the man's strong back.
Suddenly at a height she usually couldn't reach, Bertha Swift felt sweet and happy, albeit a little worried, "I'm kind of heavy, if you can't carry me, put me down."
