Abigail looked at Brandon Piers' tightly furrowed brows, with an expression as if he wished he could give birth and endure the pain for her. She found it amusing and reached out to hold Brandon's hand, "It's okay, they've already used anesthesia. I just laughed too hard and pulled the wound."
"Really?" Brandon seemed doubtful.
Abigail comfortingly patted the back of his hand, "Really, if it hurts too much, I'll let you know."
Even though it was a C-section, Abigail's body was still experiencing contractions, so how could it not hurt? But she didn't want Brandon to worry.
Moreover, compared to when she had Teddy, the pain this time was nothing.
"Tell me if it hurts, don't endure it." Brandon knew by Abigail's pale face that she wasn't feeling well, but he forced himself to remain calm and not overly anxious to ensure Abigail would feel comfortable telling him if she really was in distress.
