Bertha Swift saw Kelly Brown's gaze and turned to give Adam Piers a playful glare, "Don't be so fierce."
Adam Piers let out a cold laugh, "I'll deal with you later."
Bertha Swift immediately assessed the situation and shut her mouth.
Kelly Brown's eyes were full of disbelief, as if saying, "Who am I doing this for?"
But under Adam Piers' dangerous gaze, she could only lower her head.
"Kelly Brown?" Adam Piers' long arm hooked around Bertha Swift's waist, his gaze falling on Kelly, making it hard to discern his feelings.
Kelly forced out a "hmm" and thought of Joy Polly's reaction earlier today, and Melanie Quinn's nonchalant face, realizing only now that she was the last to know.
"You've been in the industry for six years, then left for three. Among all the agents applying, you are the least competitive. Do you know why I chose you in the end?" Adam Piers spoke in an unhurried manner.
