Jeffrey Foster heard Aunt Pritt explaining that she couldn't accompany him at six-thirty and that Isabelle Martin would send him.
"Hmm." Jeffrey Foster responded with little emotion.
Isabelle Martin heard that low voice and her heart instinctively tightened, then she politely said to Aunt Pritt, "I'll go busy myself first, and I'll come over when it's time."
"Oh, alright, alright, remember to add me on Facebook." Aunt Pritt reminded as Isabelle Martin was leaving.
Isabelle Martin's steps froze for a moment, but she said nothing.
After Isabelle Martin left, Aunt Pritt noticed that her employer's face didn't look too good, thinking it was because of her leaving early. She felt uneasy, "Martin is a good girl, very attentive in her work. She'll take good care of you."
"Hmm." Jeffrey Foster, though in a bad mood, wouldn't make things difficult for a housekeeper who earns her living through hard work. Yet his voice sounded even more somber.
