An hour later, the driver's call came through.
Rong Yan gathered her belongings, handed off her work to others, and waved goodbye as she left first.
"Miss Rong," the driver greeted her as she emerged, swiftly opening the rear door of the car for her while respectfully apologizing, "There was a slight traffic jam on the way, so you've been waiting a while."
