With the Affixed defeated, the Ragnarockers and their mortal allies began to converge on the central rubble ball.
Well, the mortal allies that could actually put up a fight against what was going to come out of that stupid thing.
As for the zakos and other members of the Storm Singers, they were still fighting off the rank-and-file to make sure that they didn't interfere.
The lesser Affixed were initially a problem for the zakos, as they weren't used to fighting against such weird opponents, but that eventually turned around once the Ragnarocker apprentices got involved.
To be more precise, once Rhythm, Blues, and Talos, a bronze zako that was Nepherage's apprentice, got involved and began coordinating their lesser brethren with the mortal warriors, they managed to turn things around.
The Affixed, despite their strange looks and weirder powers, weren't that much different from treasure-focused aether warriors.
