Bei Mo furrowed his brows and instinctively dodged her hand.
"Thank you, ma'am, but I'm not lost."
His tone was polite yet distant.
In the middle of the night, an inexplicable woman popped up wanting to take him home. Ha, does she really think he's as easy to fool as a three-year-old?
Well, it seems he really is only a little over three...
Bei Mo continued walking forward, pretending as if he hadn't lost his way at all.
The woman felt awkward for a moment and followed behind him, "Little boy, don't be scared, I'm not a bad person. I'm also a mother, how could I be a bad person? I really want to help you."
"Ma'am, is there something wrong with your ears?" Bei Mo suddenly stopped, squinted his eyes, and stared at the woman behind him.
"No... what is it?" The woman suspiciously asked in return.
Bei Mo replied coldly, "Since there's nothing wrong with your ears, can't you hear that I said I'm not lost?"
The woman was speechless.
