Sans starred blankly at the disappearing vehicle as it drove top speed in the direction of the city. 'Well that's not good, but I don't really have much options outside capturing him and threatening/harming him into not saying anything. Plus I'd likely be caught sooner or later anyway so this is probably the best introduction I could ask for if I don't want to stalk the main cast.'
Sans then sighed and returned home, back to the ruined church he was born in, he made his way towards the basement, the steps creaking as he made his way down. There he saw his collection of about 40 different Curses all around grade 4 contained by glowing cyan bones that he had been using to train his stamina and concentration.
He silently summoned a single bone spike above each Curse's head as he raised his hand, as he lowered his hand each spike followed and shoot out at Mach speed piercing their heads and the floor beneath causing dust to kick up.
'Now that that's done I should find some grade 2 and 3 Curses to get some more fighting experience in before they send in a sorcerer to exercise me. I wonder who they'll send? I overheard that guy, Akamitsu I think his name was, claim I was either grade 1 or special grade.'
Sans teleported outside the church and began making his way to the border of his "territory" to scan for any grade 2s or 3s as he already eliminated the ones within. He was taking his time walking instead of teleporting to enjoy the scenery, sipping a ketchup bottle as he moved.
You may be wondering why he was wasting time doing this instead of getting more training in, truth was Sans simply wanted to enjoy the walk, in a world where he could be killed at almost any time whether by another Curse or a Sorcerer he wanted to enjoy whatever time he had instead of constantly working himself to the bone.
'They're likely going to send a grade 1 or a Special grade Sorcerer meaning it could be Nanami, Todo, Mei, Kusakabe, or Yaga if they send a grade 1 or Satoru, Yuki, or Yuta if they send a special grade.' Sans stopped momentarily to observe some fish swimming in a river briefly before moving on.
'No matter who they send from that list I'll be able to shortcut my way out, worst case scenario would be if they sent Todo or Satoru, they could likely keep up with my teleportation to some degree but I do have range on both of them.'
'But the problem becomes, how do I convince them I'm not a bad Curse while they try to kill me, I'll probably have to defeat them first then hold them down with Blue and Cyan just to have a conversation. A Binding Vow could work but I'll have to ensure it doesn't prevent me from fighting back against and going after those that deserve it such as, human criminals, curse users, and any Sorcerer who tries to assassinate me.'
Sans continued to think about what he could do when he arrived at Hinohara, he took note of the two schools Hinohara Elementary and Junior High. It reminded him of the first few chapters of the Manga explaining that places like schools tend to have higher concentrations of Cursed Energy and how Jujutsu Society uses cursed objects or talisman to protect them.
'The talismans protecting these places seem to work pretty well, when I look at them it feels like what I imagine a Curtain would feel like to civilians, a subtle want, not to enter or be in the area. This likely causes all the Curses born from the schools to leave almost as soon as they're born, which means there are likely some grade 2 or 3 Curses nearby,' Sans then began to walk the edge of this "Curse Curtain" in hopes of spotting a Curse nearby.
As he is making his way around he suddenly teleports 6ft to the left as something crashes into his previous location, before the dust settles a 5 ft 5 kappa like Curse launches itself at Sans yet again. Sans simply teleported again and again letting the Curse continue to attack him, trying to get his teleportation windows and activations to be instinctual.
After an hour of practicing his shortcut, there was nothing more for Sans to gain from a Curse of this level of speed, "Alright little kappa I'm warmed up enough so let's end it here," Sans teleported one last time before snaping his fingers. A giant bone spike 30ft tall impaled the Curse as ten GasterBlasters surrounded it on all sides, "Goodbye turtle freak," he finished as the Blaster went off, leaving nothing behind of the Curse.
Sans then continued making his way around the edges of the schools wiping out every curse along the way with a quick bone spike to the head. He didn't come across any Curse that was as fast nor aggressive as the kappa Curse so he didn't get any extra practice for the most important tool in his arsenal, his shortcut.
So he called it a day once he finished a loop around the town while he was at it, it was getting dark so instead of walking back in the dark he simply shortcut his way to the roof of his home. He laid back and looked up at the stars as he once again lost himself in thought, 'I think my best option here would be to make some sort of contract with whoever they send, if it's one of the teachers I can suggest making a Pact with one of their students.'
Sans only came to know of "Pacts" once he became a Curse, part of the innate knowledge he had gained. A pact acts very similarly to Contracts with Devils in the Manga/Anime Chainsaw Man. In the same way Yuji eventually was able to use Sukuna's dismantle by proxy of being his vessel because their CE was connected in such a way that Sukuna's technique was engraved into Yuji.
The same could be accomplished by a Sorcerer making a Pact with a sufficiently powerful Curse, connecting their CE in such a way as to engrave part or the whole technique of the Curse onto the Sorcerer. There are almost no accounts of such a thing happening due to the natural emnity between Curses and human. The only recorded example was one in which payment was a daily human sacrifice to be tortured by the Curse, this obviously did not last long as both the Sorcerer and Curse were hunted down and killed.
'It's probably my best option to prove my usefulness but I'll have to draw a line at just a partial engravment and only to ones that pass a screening by me. Definitely never my shortcut aspect but maybe my bone manipulation and my Gaster Blasters or my ability to perform a Check. Even with all of this I think the most beneficial way to do this would be if I gained either their CE and or their memories when they passed.'
Sans continued to think upon his options as he drifted to sleep beneath the starry sky on the roof of the church.
