Wang Jingyuan stood up. She definitely felt tipsy, but it wasn't too bad. She and Yan Qiufeng walked up to the second floor where both of their rooms were, but he said he wanted to check on something with the guards and left after dropping her off.
Still in good spirits after the fun night, Wang Jingyuan did not feel sleepy at all as she got ready for bed. All the liquor she had made the room feel too warm. Dressed in her simple white pajamas with a light outer robe over her shoulders, she propped open her window and leaned on the windowsill. The cool night breeze felt good on her cheeks.
It was a clear night, and the full moon had just risen above the rooftops. Wang Jingyuan looked at it for a while, and then swept her gaze over the balcony corridor outside, which overlooked the entire manor. A little ways down, someone was leaning with their arms on the balcony railing, also looking at the moon. She squinted at the fuzzy silhouette.
"Little General Yan?"
