As I got out of bed and half-heartedly washed up. I got a call from my only friend, Ryan,
"hello?"
"Jade, Go and look at the news"
"huh? why?"
"just do it" He said in a slightly exasperated voice.
"Well, ummm, ok?"
As I held the phone to my ear I walked over to my living room, and turned on the news.
i realized that usual news lady for my new channel, was not there. I looked at the TV and in her place was a middle aged man in a military outfit in a forest filled with autumn covered trees.
"-YOU, OF ALL PEOPLE should know what this would do to the World! There is absolutely no Reason, that we should just release such information to people."
As I was staring at the TV in confusion, My friend said, "You will understand after the second guy comes out" and just like he said a second military man came out from the camera's blind spots.
"Yes, but you understand that, these "Portals" aren't just going to stop appearing, well at least according to the information I know."
I said to my Friend, "why are these two military men talking about fantasy things? Is this a roleplay?
"Nope, not at all, There is even video evidence of some people disappearing through these "Portals", though they aren't what you would normally expect from a "Portal"
As I look back at the TV, I see that that video started to repeat, So I shut my TV off.
"Look it up, It is actually very weird, as these? "Portals" only last for a few minutes. and also the fact that these videos are probably going to get taken down soon, Watch them at WeirdPortals.com"
I searched up on WierdPortals.com and managed to find the videos Ryan was talking about, and I tapped on them.
I thought it was just going to be some fake videos of this so called disappearing portal stuff. I looked at how many videos there were, and saw, 800 videos all from different people!
And then thought to myself, actually, this just proves that they are fake, there is no way I have not seen any of these in this past week.
So I quickly watched one of them to see that, as somebody was walking in this video, he suddenly tripped over empty air, which, wouldn't have been a weird if it wasn't for him to trip onto something, that was just invisible! And as he looked as if flying, And amidst the surprised shouts he suddenly started to vanish into thin air!
As Everyone shouted for him and tried to look for him, I thought about the unnatural way he disappeared, Made me think this was just a fake video. But I watched more and more of the same thing, albeit somewhat different between them, like the invisible object, led me to believe that it might be true, Though for the most part, I still doubted. but since these videos were only released this week, It led me to believe that they may be true. But then again These were only out for a week, and the many people could have been paid to do such a stupid thing.

"Oh what, huh, oh sorry Ryan, I wasn't paying attention."
"I can see that, but did you see the news video and the number of video evidence that proves it is real?"
"I did, But.... I still have many doubts about its authenticity."
"How, there are 800 videos that appeared in under a week!"
"Well, I was just thinking, If there were that many, people who just so happened to be there to record this video, then why is there so many? I don't believe there could be that many, coincident as that,"
"Yes, good point, but this was all just posted a we-"
"No, listen. My second point of disbelief was that, How can a radio station have the ability to play such a confidential video, and just leave that, ummm, WierdPortals.com site up with all those videos on it? and also, that is not really portals, that's more like teleportation than portals.
"How should I know, but one thing for sure is that this is for real! I saw somebody go through this the other day, and I was so scared that I did not come out from my house."
"...But why did you not tell me this yesterday?"
"Well, ummm, my-My internet! Just so happened to shut down for a bit. but it-But it came back up now, so I called you."
"Hmmm, you don't sound that convincing...
Oh, well, Should I go out to the library today or something? Cause I have many doubts still for this, so called "Portals"

And as I looked surprised I see a dead battery screen on my phone
'what the, I'm... sure i got it charged yesterday, like I didn't charge it overnight, I had it charged to 80% last night and just put it on the charger just in case for the remaining 20%'
"fuuuuua"
"what is wrong with this world?"
I went up to my bedroom, and put my phone on the charger.
'should I go check out the foul odor from earlier, or listen to my friend's advice and just stay here?'
"You, know what? I am going to research that foul odor!"
And as he started to prepare for going outside, His friend Ryan, was not simply idling around, but was hurrying from one white room to another, You may ask, how do I know this, well, It's because I'm the Author and that's that. And we can see from, the only mirror that seems to be in this story, that he doesn't even look human, instead he looked more like some, shadowy figure, just barely blurred around the edges of his body...
